May 12, 2021 – FDC is experiencing some supply chain issues on cast products. The sign industry is experiencing some raw material and manufacturing issues in producing cast products. Some manufacturers have placed their products on allocation and/or have temporarily suspended new orders. Combining these challenges with ongoing freight and shipping issues at a time of record orders is causing disruptions in supply.
For FDC, this potentially impacts:
- 3M – 3630, 7125, 7725
- Lumina® – 2100, 2520, 3522, 3700, 7004, 7028, 7102, 7128
FDC has been working to build up an inventory but shortages are likely on some SKUs. These challenges could extend into much of this year.
