FDC Improves Thermal Advantage 9303 Series10/29/2015FDC Graphic Films, Inc. improved the 9302 FDC Print Media: Clear Polyurethane, Thermal Advantage™ Heat Transfer Film to be a thinner film that will still produce vibrant colors on white or light colored textiles. The upgrade transitions the film from a PVC construction to a polyurethane film from a PVC construction to a polyurethane film. Distributors will start receiving the upgraded film in late Octobrer as FDC phases out its current inventory of the previous film. 9302 adheres to 100 percent cotton, 100 percent uncoated polyester and poly/cotton blend textiles. The film is CPSIA Compliant, so it is approved to be used on children's clothing. It is easy to weed, and unlike other print-cut heat transfer films, it does not require a print mask to transfer the film from the carrier. The new matte film is nearly half the thickness of the old film, and it is more comfortable to wear than the old film.
